August 24, 2002 - Tech Day
Participants: Andre (andre), Doug (Kewl_Kat600), John (lilboybuell2001), Jacques

We put new tires and some squidly neon on Andre's RC, new bar ends and a wash job on John's Buell, then designer grips and a wash job on Doug's Kanatuna, and new grips and fresh chain wax on Jacques' VStrom. Obviously, it was a day full of KY, lube, and rubber. Of course, there was lot's of FUN in between, including going to the local Honda shop and freaking out all the salesreps because a bunch of lunatic gay guys sat on every motorcycle in the place. Then there was Doug and I riding the TW200 in tandem up and down the greenbelt next to the house... with Doug screaming "I'm gonna die!" the whole time. And there was Jacques freaking out while we tipped his V-Strom onto its side to get the errant nut out of the handlebars... until we figured out we could use compressed air to fire the nut into the next county... Then there were the two incidents with the garden hose... and then we went to lunch at On The Border where we ate and some of us drank 'ritas for 2 hours. Basically, your average day with Spectrum when we're not riding 200+ miles.
